Senior Data Scientist / Analyst

• We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Analyst who can gather insights and build ML/decision systems from a variety of data we collect (e.g. drone images, tractor telematics, field reports and data collection from 3rd party apps, weather station data, …) and apply it to one or more of our problem domains
• Analysing all parameters and data from the field (weather, soil properties, historical field data, weed severity, vehicle/implement properties, resource availability, etc.) to optimise planning and scheduling operations

• Building a decision support system to help agronomists/farmers decide and plan – which crop to sow/plant, how to prepare the field, fertilization/protection recommendations, etc.
• Analysis of drone images (RGB and multispectral) – detection of usurpations from neighbours, verification of field operations, measuring plant stress, early detection/prediction of diseases/pests based on historical and weather data, water logging analysis etc.
• Carbon footprint – what is our footprint and how to optimise and reduce it.

• Prototype ML models / decision systems in cooperation with our development team
• Leverage Google AI Platform to solve our challenges

• Working on a unique project of supporting large-scale eco farming with unconventional data streams
• Variety of challanges to be solved in agriculture by using machine learning and advanced analytics

• Experienced Senior Data Scientist / Analyst, who will help us understand the data through analyses and machine learning as well as build systems that will help us make decisions / recommendations based on the data we collect

• Has experience with various ML approaches and how to apply them
• Eager to learn and grow professionally as well as personally
